Sometimes you need to check the correctness of file-container created for BMW-Explorer,or open the key to decrypt EEprom via the built-in calculator.

To do this, open BMW-Explorer, then select "Extra options", press "CALC CAS3 +".

In the opened Calculator on the right we select "Load key" and select the file-container.

Also you can download the entire EEprom CAS3 C/AS3 + using the button at the bottom right.

All the data of the key (s) will be displayed.

To unlock the key, we need the Secret key ( in our case its a FAE7E001 EC00), enter this data into the Hitag2 or Tango programmer, and press read

The most important thing after reading the key is compare 3 bytes of PSW, these bytes participate in Crypto CAS3 +

and if there is no match in the file-container and key there will be no permission to start the engine nor EGS authorization.
